Line and wash is an excellent form of art for the beginner as well as the more experienced artist. Executed properly, it has a fresh appealing look that attracts the viewer. This style is not to be confused with normal watercolor painting. Here the washes are supposed to be very thinly applied in a glazing fashion. The exception to this rule is the background to this paintings.
