b Class Description

The cheetah is often mistaken for the leopard. The cheetah is much more sleek and built for speed. It is distinguished by the black tear markings that run down from the eyes. In this class you will  draw a cheetah portrait in pen and ink.

In this lesson we will learn:

1.  How to brighten up a drawing from a photograph taken in shade.
2.  How to separate the eye which is in deep shade.
3.  How to follow the lay of the hair
4.  How to add shading with an extra fine nib.

You Will Need

  • Drawing paper or sketch pad
  • Pencil
  • Soft eraser
  • Kneaded eraser
  • Fountain / Dip pen
  • India Ink & Container for dipping
  • Fineliners (0.3, 0.5 & 0.8mm)
