Class Description

Immerse yourself in this engaging oil painting lesson where you'll master the art of creating a lively rooster portrait using impasto style techniques. For the class you will need:

• Canvas. I have used an 18" x 14" (45cm x 36cm)
• I have used acrylic paint for the background, but you can use oil if you prefer. The colours are : Titanium White, Paynes Grey, Raw Umber, Sap Green & Cerulean Blue)
• For the rooster I used these oil paints: Titanium White, Paynes Grey, Raw Umber, Burnt Sienna, Crimson, Cadmium Red, Cadmium Orange, Yellow Ochre, Lemon Yellow, Viridian Green & Phthalo Blue
• Brushes : 1.5" (38cm) Hardware brush, 1" (2.5cm) Pastry brush, 3/4" (1.5cm) Soft flat and a 1/4" (0.5 cm) soft filbert
• Painting Knives : various sizes
