b Class Description

In this exciting class, we’ll explore the dynamic world of palette knife painting as we create a rugged coastal rock scene—using only the painting knife! Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to loosen up your brushwork, this class is an ideal opportunity to explore texture, color, and energy through a fresh, hands-on approach.

Although demonstrated in oil, acrylic artists are absolutely welcome—this technique translates beautifully between both mediums.

During the Class You Will Learn:

🪨 How to create convincing rock textures using only a palette knife
🌿 How to add foliage with expressive, bold strokes
🌊 How to paint water flowing around and between rocks
🎨 How to layer paint thickly without it turning muddy
🖼️ How to develop depth and structure without using brushes
🧠 Tips on simplifying your scene and working quickly
