You Will Need

  • a 400mm x 300mm canvas (roughly 16″ x 12″). The canvas can either be a bought black canvas or one you have painted black using acrylic paint. If you are painting your canvas black, paint in a thin layer so that there is no paint texture on the canvas.
  • Set of bristle brushes
  • Finer liner and a rigger brush
  • 1/4″ (1cm)  Soft flat brush
  • Paints: Titanium White, Paynes Grey & Burnt Sienna (oil or acrylic).
