🖌️ How to paint flowing fabric using a knife for bold, graceful strokes
💡 How to show lighting effects that enhance movement and mood

Unlock Your Expressive Side

🛠️ Tools & Techniques You’ll Explore: From blending skin tones to confidently dragging a palette knife across your canvas, you’ll gain new skills that boost both your control and freedom with paint.
🧠 Focused Yet Free: Learn how to strike the balance between detail and spontaneity—making your figure pop without overworking the piece.
🎨 Mixed Media Flexibility: Although the class is demonstrated in acrylic, you can easily adapt every technique to oil if that’s your medium of choice.

Step into the studio and bring this graceful figure to life today!

You Will Need

  • Canvas – I am using an A4 size canvas (roughly 9″ x 12″)
  • Paints – A range of colours as you may decide to use your own colour combination. I have used Titanium White, Mars Black, Burnt Sienna, Pthalo Blue and Cadmium Yellow.
  • Soft Filbert, Fine Liner
  • 1″ or 2″ hardware brush (chip brush)

Do not transfer anything to the canvas beforehand, we will do that in class.
