Class Description

Venice is well-known for its canals and waterways, as well as the wonderful views and historical sites, such as the Bridge if Sighs. Just as well-known , though, are the Gondolas, with passengers being poled along the waterways. You will paint a couple of these “water Taxis” in watercolour as they wait for you embark.

In the lesson you will learn:

1.  How to paint the background buildings
2.  How to simplify the building
3.  How to show linear as well as colour perspective to the building
4.  How to paint the bridge
5.  How to paint the Gondolas
