Class Description

Waves are always fascinating to watch and observe, from the small ones right through to the storm waves. Normally it is the large ones that attract our attention first – just the power and the energy expended is sometimes mind-boggling. In this class you will paint, in watercolour, one of these crashing waves.

In this lesson you will learn:

1.  How to draw the wave action
2.  How to paint the “roll overs”
3.  How to paint the wispy spray
4.  How to indicate the foam
5.  How to paint the spent waves and the beach area
6.  How to add the surfer
